Hee Haw Heaven!
Hooker & Boys whipped out another year of their tinsel town antics with the 11th Annual production of The 12 Days of Christmas on Saturday December 12, 2009.
Baltimore, Maryland’s Club Hippo set the stage for the greatest combined effort of the Drag, Leather, Rodeo, Straight, Bisexual, and Transgendered communities.
Shawnna Alexander and Summer Clearance, Lauren Mitchell and Deb Jones emceed a multitude of acts including singing, illusion, and skits.
People came from near and far donating their money, time and talent to make this year's program a complete success.
During the production there was a simultaneous silent auction, bootblacking, and pictures with Mr. and Ms. Claus.
This year's production was dedicated to Rodney Burger and Steve Buettner, for their continuing support of the LLGBSTQ Communities.
Special Thanks to all that performed, volunteered, attended, plus the crew, the sponsors and the kind contributors.
All money raised will be donated in memory of Mr. Marcus, John Matthews aka Christina DeVain, Wanda Hatfield, Larry Stansbury, and Virginia Hill.
The 11th annual 12 Days of Christmas was able to raise $7,000.00. Of which CLAW Nation will receive $4,666.66 and they will disburse it in the following manner - $2,333.33 to Brother Help Thyself which in turn will disburse $1,166.66 to AIDS Action Baltimore and $1,166.67 to G.L.C.C.B. Pride. The ShipMates Club of Baltimore will receive $2,333.33, for Daddy Christmas 2009 benefitting Johns Hopkins Pediatric AIDS. The remaining $2,333.33 will go to C.O.M.M.A.N.D., M.C.'s Greene-Baker Fund. Good Hearts Really Do Beat A Bad Economy - Thank You ALL!
