This week is Leather Week in LA and since it's Leatherati's home turf we'll be covering all of the events! Here's a look at what kind of trouble you can get in to:
Sunday, March 21 - Avatar LA's Kickoff Parking Lot Party at the Faultline. Guzzle it up with the leather gods at this huge parking lot party. Plus it's your first chance to check out the LA 10, aka the contestants for Mr Los Angeles Leather.
Tuesday, March 23 - S/M Happy Hour at Antebellum Gallery in Hollywood. Yep, our very own erotic art gallery is throwing open the doors for a happy hour meet and greet with special host American Leatherman 2009 Alex Lindsay. Hours are 5 - 8 and info is on the FB page
Wednesday, March 24 - Leather butts, nun habits and spandex boyz converge on the Moonlight Roller RInk for the annual Hell On Wheels leather skate party. Surreal doesn't even come close. Tix $10 in advance from LALC members or $15 at the door.
Thursday, March 25 - A Decade of Mr Los Angeles Leather - Stockroom hosts IML 2009 Jeffrey Payne, American Leatherman 2009 Alex Lindsay and Mr Los Angeles Leather 2009 Ken Hearst. A meet and greet social from 7 - 9 PM showcasing a retrospective film of 10 years of LAL history. Immediately following is a step down "roast" of Ken Hearst, Mr LA Leather 2009, at Oil Can Harry's in Studio City from 9 - 11 PM.
Friday, March 26 - The annual LALC awards gala Southland Honors takes place this year at the Hwang Theatre in Little Tokyo from 7 - 9 PM. See and be seen! Also on Friday is the leather weekend's official multi sex/uality play party at the Threshold Clubhouse. Doors open at 9 PM and tix are $15 each.
Saturday, March 27 - Tom of Finland Foundation presents the Erotic Art Fair from 1 - 6 PM at the West Hollywood Park. Later that night it's the main event - the Mr Los Angeles Leather Contest at the Hwang Theatre in Little Tokyo. Doors open 7 PM sharp. Late night it's the Anvil Club Extreme Dress Code Party for men 21+ at a private dungeon.
Sunday, March 28 - LAL Victory Brunch at Good Micro Brew in Silver Lake from 11 AM - 1 PM. LAL Victory BBQ at the Bullet Bar in North Hollywood from 2 to 6 PM.
