LLC XV Scholarships Announced

LLC National Board of Directors Offers Scholarships to LLC-XV in Los Angeles

The National Board of Directors of the Leather Leadership Conference, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is offering 12 full scholarships to cover the cost of registration to the up-coming LLC-XV in Los Angeles, the weekend of April 8 - 10, 2011.  

Applications are accepted until January 15, 2011. Those awarded will be notified by January 25, 2011.  If you have already registered for the conference, you can be reimbursed for your registration fee.

Leather Holiday Canned Food and Toy Drive

Mr Ramrod 2010 and the South Florida boys of Leather team up!

Once again this Holiday Season, the Ft. Lauderdale Leather Community came together in celebration and support  for those less fortunate.  The Ramrod Bar, Ft. Lauderdale, Rich Rodriguez - Mr. Ramrod 2010, the South Florida boys of Leather and Todd Storey – Mr. Ft. Lauderdale Rubber 2011 hosted the 2^nd Annual Canned Food Drive on November 20 and the 4^th Annual Holiday toy drive on December 11, 2010. 

Over $3,000 worth of food, toys and cash were collected for The Children’s Diagnostics and Treatment Center of Ft. Lauderdale and Kids In Distress of Broward Country. 

Thank you to the many Local and Regional Title Holders who came out and donated their time and to the Ft. Lauderdale Leather Community for their continued support and generosity.

LA Leather 2011 Judges Announced

The Los Angeles Leather Coalition (LALC) recently announced their slate of judges for the 2011 Mr LA Leather Contest on March 26th, 2011.

• Olga - LA Based sexuality and kink educator
• Lance Holman - Mr SF Leather 2010 & 1st Runner up, IML 2010
• Mikey - Board Member, Avatar Club Los Angeles
• Louie Pacheco - Mr Christopher Street West Leather 2009 & American Leatherman 2010
• Brad Taylor - Mr LA Leather 2010

The winner of the LAL title goes on to compete at the International Mr Leather contest in May 2011 in Chicago, IL.  In recent years the 1st runner up at LAL has gone on to compete at American Brotherhood Weekend.  In fact, the past three AML winners have hailed from Los Angeles.
