Kinky Girls
I guess I'm jaded but when I read a blurb that described the new book Kinky Girls (edited by Miranda Forbes) as "seriously kinky" I jumped right in. Hmmm...outdoor sex, voyeurism and food sex don't raise the bar very high for me but I'm sure your average kink-o-phile will be satisfyingly titillated.
That said, critic Lucy Felthouse from Blogcritics.org, describes some of the stories in this kinky anthology as "sparklingly brilliant" and that's reason enough to snag a copy for yourself.

Hunky Jesus, Sisters, Bulges and more...
We're really going far afield for this news article - all the way to the California Catholic Daily. An un-bylined posting details the activities of those wacky and marvelous Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence who keep Bishop's panties in a bunch around the world with their quasi-religious and supremely irreverent fundraising activities.
This time it was the Easter event in Mission Dolores park that included such Satanic rituals as a children's Easter egg hunt, an Easter bonnet contest and the very popular Hunky Jesus Contest. The winner, by the way, was Junky Jesus who was decked out in a loincloth covered with syringes.
Not surprisingly the article is not exactly a ringing endorsement of the SOPI escapes but interestingly it kind of comes across a bit wistful. Almost as if the uncredited author wishes the Mother Church could pump some fun back in to the mix. Of course they had to balance everything off with the requisite quotes from outraged clergy, a Fox columnist, and the President of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality.

Terminator Jacket Up For Auction
In the, "Well now, isn't that curious?" file, we find that the leather jacket worn my Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines movie is up for auction. Well, maybe now that he's no longer California's once-beloved Governator, he needs the charity write off.
The charity event is Saturday, April 30 from 6 to 10 PM at the Edna Valley VIneyard in San Luis Obispo, CA. Tickets are $150 and you can order yours at 805-771-8640. Proceeds benefit Enhancement, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for breast cancer survivors.
