Long Beach Leather Pride
The first-ever Long Beach Leather Pride kicked in to action this past weekend. Headquartered at Pistons Bar, the weekend featured a Meet and Greet on Friday night, the Mr Long Beach Leather contest on Saturday night and a Leather Swap Meet and BBQ on Sunday.
Friday's event got nicely packed wth leather folk early and stayed that way all night. Lubed with kick ass jello shots, the crowd snapped up boots to balls raffle tickets for a selection of prizes.
Saturday's main event was the Mr Long Beach Leather. There were three men competing for the title and after the tally was completed by Tally Master Alex Lindsay (American Leatherman 2009), Ian emerged as Mr Long Beach Leather 2011, Zach was first runner up and Drew was second runner up. Ian will go on to compete at IML in May of 2012.
Alex Kitay (Mr Long Beach Leather 2010 and LB Pride Producer) will represent Long Beach at IML in May of 2011.
Judges for the Contest were Alexei Romanoff (Avatar LA founding member) Miss Cynthia (BDSM Educator), Utah Rox (International Mr Olympus 2010) and Alex Kitay (Mr Long Beach Leather 2010).
