South Plains Leatherfest-International Master/slave Weekend Announces A Home Improvement Plan! For over 10 years, South Plains Leatherfest-International Master/slave Weekend has provided a home for those looking for education on Master/slave relationships, cutting edge SM and a queer-friendly leather space where they can experience it all. SPLF-IM/s Weekend 2012 will continue that tradition – but on a new weekend with a little “home improvement!”
First of all, why the date change after all of these years? Well, they weren’t too happy with some of their “neighbors” at the hotel this year -- those pesky cheerleaders attending a national convention held in Dallas the same weekend as their leather homecoming. Since the cheerleaders will be back the same weekend next year, they’re asking you to come home to South Plains two weeks later, March 9-11, 2012, when the “neighborhood” will be much quieter!
And what about that “home improvement plan?” They’re delighted to let the South Plains family know that over the course of 2011, the host hotel will be renovating many of the guest rooms, the meeting rooms and the restaurant. To mark these changes, starting in June 2011, the hotel will no longer be a Radisson, but will become a Park Inn. The Owners and Producers of SPLF-IM/s Weekend are excited about the “home renovation” because they want their South Plains family to be as comfortable as possible when you come home to see them.
