I just finished a truly inspirational posting from Ruff on his Ruffs Stuff blog. He voiced exactly what I've been feeling lately about how most of my play has moved out of the dungeon and in to the demo. Ruff is one of the hottest guys I know and in a weird sort of back door way it made me feel better to know that evern über-hotties get in a funk once in a while.
Lately I've seen a tendency for event producers to call them "scenes" instead of demos but the result is kind of the same; you're on display for entertainment and to show people how it's done. I've long bemoaned the fact that we have to schedule play at our bars and events instead of it just happening organically but I usually justify it by saying that even artificial play is better than no play.
I can tell you this though. I've never had as hot a time with a demo scene as I've had in my own dungeon one on one with a boy. Grrrrr...now where's my boy...let's get busy!
Check out Ruff's blog after the jump. NSFW by the way.

Thank you, Race. :-)

I believe that lately we are over-demoed and under-playing. So I agree with Ruff's sentiments.
