Interview with Joey Tarin - LAL 2011 Contestant

All interviews are interesting, but some more than most.  I've never interviewed a deaf contestant before and my ASL skills are rudimentary at best.  Fortunately Joey Tarin, Mr Bullet Leather 2011, is accomplished at reading lips and is used to accommodating hearing people.

 You've heard of the world's best job but one San Francisco company's offer might be on the other end of the spectrum.
 
The controversial adult festish site, Kink.com is looking for a helping hand as it shoots videos devoted to BDSM fetishes. The job pays $15 an hour and minimal experience is required. But that is where the dream ends.  Kink.com is looking for a "temporary stage custodian" who, among other things, must be "comfortable and willing to possibly clean up human fluids from shoots as well as dildos and props from shoots."
 
In case it isn't clear, you will be responsible for cleaning up after sex scenes so more sex scenes can be shot.  Oh.  And you also need a valid California driver's license, must be computer literate, and maintain good communication skills.
 
The job gives a whole new meaning to cleaning up your act.

 Michelle Jackson, a long time member of the leather community and Ms San Diego Leather 2005, now has a new responsibilities to add to her already busy life - President of the San Diego Boys of Leather.  She also has the honor of being the first female president of the group.

Michelle identifies as a boy and has been active with the group for a number of years.  She is also well-known and loved in her role as interpreter to the deaf community, a role that she truly relishes.

Congrats to Michelle!  Give her a monster hug next time you see her.

When Lady Gaga stepped on stage at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball in London, she wore a fabulous red leather bikini.
