IMsL is Hot!

Here's  a sneak peek at the hot stuff IMsL has in store!

THURSDAY registration and play spaces open (ALL weekend!), and attendees can jumpfeet first into the weekend with classes, the smokin' Seduction performances, the Seduction After Party and Speed Tricking! And new this year--the Littles Slumber Party and Petting Zoo.

FRIDAY starts the vending and educational intensives! Plus the charity silent auction adds more shopping flavor. Speed Tricking continues, and the ever-so-popular Hospitality Receptions take the day away! You can get your boots and leathers made lovely by local bootblacks and contestants, and enjoy the IMsL Contestant Interviews as well.  Display your colors during the Opening Ceremony, roast the outgoing titleholders, enjoy a Uniform Party by the D.U.C.! And the contest structure for the bootblacks has been changed and updated, and it’s more exciting than ever--be there to cheer them on as they take the stage for the first time Friday night for Speeches and Pop Questions! 

SATURDAY continues with wonderful 90-minute workshops, the sexy Boots and Cigar Party, the IMsBB contestant interviews, and, the reason you’re all here, the internationally revered IMsL and IMsBB contest with another amazing opening number designed by Skeeter! The IMsL contestants will participate in an all out, hot and steamy contest as they answer pop questions, give speeches, strut their stuff in hot wear and entertain with their fantasies on stage.

Leathermen's Discussion Group 15th Anniversary

Thanks once again to the generosity of Folsom Street Events, the San Francisco Leathermen's Discussion Group is holding its fifteenth anniversary bash in the Andrew Spencer Ceremonial Room at the LGBT Community Center.

Meeting details - Saturday, December 17, 2011, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Spencer Ceremonial Room, 4th floor LGBT Community Center, 1800 Market Street, San Francisco, CA

The meeting is open to all adults. Come help them honor their past, celebrate the present, and hear what they have in store for the future. 

Along with music and merriment by our leather/latex/who-knows-what elves and helpers, we'll present our first-ever LDG Service awards and a preview of our upcoming mentoring program.  Speechmaking will be minimal but choice: our featured speaker is activist, educator, organizer, commentator, community leader, and longtime friend of LDG, Race Bannon. 

Note:  The LDG is still seeking both volunteers to assist at the event and food & beverage sponsors.  If you can help, please drop a line to:  volunteer@sfldg.org

Interview with Hobbit, IMsL 2008

Certain people just bring on a smile and Hobbit (IMsL 2008) is undeniably that kind of person.  We spent a few minutes with Hobbit at IMsL 2011 and happened to catch her in a particularly fantastic mood.

Kinky Pic of the Week for April 29th

We were at IMsL 2011 recently and picked up a bunch of great photos but this one really caught our eye.  

Tamale, a contestant for International Ms Leather, strutted her stuff all over the stage in her fantasy number.  Hot!  For her finale she explode a confetti bomb all over the judges and this pic captures all of the action.

Awards! Contests! Conferences! Oh, My!

Awards! 

In Hollywood and the Leather Community spring is when the diva comes out in all of us and we like to give ourselves awards for it! We also like to hold our contests in the spring.  It is award and contest time again in the Bay Area.   Woo hoooo!

My favorite Bay Area Awards are the Golden Gate Guard’s Golden Dildeauxs, a yearly fluff of an award for giggles and cleaver fundraising.  The big gold plywood unsanded cocks glued to a round wood disk and GGG in handwritten gold lettering is one of my most cherished possessions!  I won one for “The Hostess with The Mostest” for the year I may have gone through a few beaus. My proudest, however are for “The Devil Wears Prada 2010”and for “The Devil Wears Off Ramp 2011” for leather fashionista of the Bay Area.  Yes, I beat Lance Holman (Mr. SF 2010), who is younger, prettier and smarter than me two years in row!  Got to love it when Momma beats the best dressed Leather god and most sought after leather dyke baby Daddy in the Universe; I kid you not.  This to me is one of the most important awards of my life.  Yes, it is shallow, tongue in cheek, fundraising and fun.  Dun mess with my Dildeauxs, I would get very cranky.

Interview with Lady Faye Falconnier

We attended the 25th annual International Ms Leather a couple of weeks ago in San Francisco.  It was amazing to note that there were 17 for IMsL titleholders on hand to celebrate the milestone.

We had a few minutes to talk with Lady Faye Falconnier of Dallas, TX who is IMsL 2006.  I love her style!
