LeatherTiggers' MindFruits #1: What "Should" IML Be?
Greetings Tribe:
Many who know me are aware that I used to pen a regular column about Leather/Kink. Twice I've stopped.
As charity first begins at home, or so they say, the first was to take time to take care of my Spirit following the passing of my Mum, the wonderful and amazing Denise Vézina, who remains and forever shall be my role model when it comes to the unconditional one love/world love Lifeforce I pray rages valiantly within my Spirit.
The second was as a result of my running smack right into the wall of what Jack Rinella calls virgin rapture. There came a point when I simply got so disillusioned with what I perceived as an outright lack of honour, integrity, and respect within our community that I simply checked-out, and stopped writing, as I had lost my voice and just had nothing left to say.
After dipping my lower digits into the ocean to ascertain whether it was safe to go back into the water(insert theme from Jaws here), I've decided it was time, once again, to honour one of my mentors, the late and sharp-witted Robert Davolt, who made me promise before his passing to "never stop writing".
And so, once more I go, back into the drink.
Whether I swim or perform a glub-glub encore? .... Only the fullness of time will reveal.
