*MLT Contest is underway

We just met the international and national titleholders and now the emcee is regaling us with a story about being in a sling.

MLT Greet the Meat

And some might hot meat is is!

 Last night the leathered-up crowd packed in to Sailor for a VIP reception to check out the contestants for Mr Leatherman Toronto.  

MLT has set up a well-run feeder system of local title's and this year the contestant pool for MLT represents the best of the best from those preliminary contestants.

Seven guys are vying for the Mr Leatherman Toronto title:  Andrew - Mr Steamworks, David - Mr Woody's/Priape, Devin - Mr Gladaman's Den, Joseph - Mr St, Marc's Spa, Josh - Mr Black Eagle, Kevin - Mr Spearhead, and Martin-Graham - Mr Barn.  

Once the VIP's got their fill the doors were thrown open at the contestants were let loose on the crowd in Woody's for round 2 of the Greet the Meat.

The first stage appearance for the contenders happens at Woody's and tradition has turned it in a hazing of sorts.  All good natured of course.  Each contestant drew a card and had to recite the phrase on the card with as much feeling as they could muster.  The crowd got to decide if they had passed the test or not. Pretty hilarious stuff all around.

 Then we got to preview some of the "assets" so to speak as the contestants dropped trou (or raised a kilt in one case) to show off their buns to the crowd.  A clap off followed and a tie was eventually announced between  Kevin, Mr Spearhead and Devin, Mr Gladaman's Den.   Tough call but great fun.

After some post-ass cocktails the next official event of the weekend kicked off at The Barn with KLUB (Kink Leather Uniform Bash) a super-hot dance party in The Barn Complex.  You gotta check this place out next time you're in Toronto.  Great energy, hot music and enough variety to keep everyone happy.  And I do mean happy.

So, MLT is off to a good start.  The MLT committee's got everything wired up tight, as we'd expect from these world-class guys.  Today are the second half of the interviews, the vendor market is open and the seminars are underway.  

Lots to do and lots to see.  We'll report more later but in the meantime here's some photos to keep you busy!
