SWLC - Day 3 Recap

I'm sensing a theme here - at the of day 1, we were headed to the play parties, and at the end of day 2 ....we were headed to the play parties.  Hmmmm

Day 3 for us was unfortunately going home day for us but there still plenty to keep us occupied in the morning and early afternoon.  First thing on the agenda was the Brunch and Awards Ceremony.  Did I mention the food was excellent at this conference?  Brunch delivered as well.

Awards ceremonies are sometimes things to kind of get through, not so with this program.  Master Skip took the lead with fellow Butchmanns board members presenting the various awards.  Here are the recipients for 2012:

Southwest Leather Conference Spiritual Development Scholarship

Southwest Leather Conference Spiritual Development Scholarship was created in 2006 as a gift from Master Steve of Butchmanns, to his beloved friend and leather brother, Master Skip, for his 50th birthday. It was created to honor Master Skip's ministry in the leather community of celebrating and modeling the integration of radical sexuality with one's spirituality.The scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to leather folk who are pursuing formal religious or spiritual training or education for the purpose of accreditation and / or personal spiritual growth and development. The scholarship is managed by Butchmanns, Inc.

SWLC - Day 2

We're well in to day 2 of the Southwest Leather Conference - started off with a yummy buffet breakfast and then took in Master Skip's seminar on multiple slaves.  Great, great stuff.

We're not ready for Single Tail Dancing with Daddy Crone.  A huge space is cleared in the middle of the room - this oughta be good!

Toronto Bound - Meanwhile, back downtown... (Pt 2)

I'm pretty much ready to go, but I wanted to ensure that the video of Master Mike Zuhl's keynote address was downloaded before I left. Unfortunately, it is 1.5GB long, so it might take a bit of time to deal with.

So, at this point, I missed the Open House at Oasis Aqua Lounge, which used to be Club Toronto. But I might be able to check it out as there's a play space for everyone on the second floor while the Private Women’s and Trans’ Play Party happen on the 3rd and 4th Floor. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the policy on camera use in there will be.

Otherwise, I will most likely be at the Barracks Black-Out Night Men’s Play Party at Spa Excess, which is virtually next door before heading back to the Black Eagle Toronto for the Late Night Cigar/ Farewell Party.

I probably would not be able to take many (if any) photos, especially at the play parties out of respect for the privacy of the people going. But fear not, my readers, I'm sure you will have plenty of photos to look at from the rest of the weekend once they're sorted.

I am so happy I got to drop in on the Seattle girls of Leather for their first fundraiser! Washington State Ms Leather 2011 Miss Kat organized it. It benefits her title fund, the SFgoL and the It Gets Better project.

Eclipse- Woman and trans play party at the SF Citadel

Tonight kicked off with a super hot women and trans play party at the SF Citadel. Eclipse is hosted by Ms. Cat and Ajax- special thanks to them for asking me to do a demo with my two girls! They were so many hot people in attendance and the space was hopping.

It was great to see August Knight (who owns the Citadel with her partner Phil) and get a chance to wish her luck as one of this year's Leather Marshals. Both her and Mr SF Leather 2010 Lance Holman carry that honor this year. They will both be pulled in pony carts at the lead of the Leather Contingent in the Parade. Northwest Leather Celebration Wrap Up

Northwest Leather Celebration was an amazing event weekend. Compliments to the organizers, presenters, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and of course-- the contestants!

Congratulations to Daniel Basse (BusDriver) and Pink for winning the title of Northwest Master and slave!

Classes and discussions were abundant, with over 40 different presenters. The subjects extended far beyond M/s and were categorized into three tracks: community building, relationship building, and SM technique. A full list is available here: http://www.northwestleathercelebration.com/workshops
