Toronto Bound - Meanwhile, back downtown... (Pt 2)

I'm pretty much ready to go, but I wanted to ensure that the video of Master Mike Zuhl's keynote address was downloaded before I left. Unfortunately, it is 1.5GB long, so it might take a bit of time to deal with.

So, at this point, I missed the Open House at Oasis Aqua Lounge, which used to be Club Toronto. But I might be able to check it out as there's a play space for everyone on the second floor while the Private Women’s and Trans’ Play Party happen on the 3rd and 4th Floor. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the policy on camera use in there will be.

Otherwise, I will most likely be at the Barracks Black-Out Night Men’s Play Party at Spa Excess, which is virtually next door before heading back to the Black Eagle Toronto for the Late Night Cigar/ Farewell Party.

I probably would not be able to take many (if any) photos, especially at the play parties out of respect for the privacy of the people going. But fear not, my readers, I'm sure you will have plenty of photos to look at from the rest of the weekend once they're sorted.

While I'm back at home re-charging my camera battery, my iPhone, and me, the second set of bootblack classes have already rolled out at the Black Eagle.

Then come the play parties. I think Wonder Woman will be my inspiration for my play outfit. I just wish I had an invisible jet to get me back and forth to downtown from home.

MLO - Home now

Well, now that MLO 2012 weekend is finished and I'm back home in Toronto, I have to download and sort through the 18 videos and 509 photos that I took over that weekend.

MLO - Isaac speaks, but his cell phone kept ringing.

Murray took Isaac's phone as it kept ringing while he tried to speak.

He talked about giving back to the community starting with giving back to Bruce House near Christmas. And will continue to give back to the community throughout his title year.

And with that, MLO 2012 ends. So long and farewell!

MLO - People are now speaking

Pat Croteau, the president of the Ottawa Knights is thanking all the people who made this weekend possible. And I mean ALL of them from the people in front and behind the scenes and the people who came to support.

Now, Murray Lavigne, the VP of the Ottawa Knights gives the prizes away to the contestants.

Zelda Marshall comes up to present the Eagle Award to recognize the individual who supported the community. And it was awarded to DeeDee Delight. She could not be here to accept it so her husband accepted it on her behalf.

Mike Tattersall and Zelda did the raffle for the pictures of previous fantasy scenes on the tables.

Rapture - Outfit aspirations

Definitely the buzz among the outfits displayed in the fashion show was the brown leather. I'm definitely aiming towards getting a male Xena outfit made in my fashion future. I loved the brown and gold warrior kilts that were on the models.

And speaking about outfits, my outfit definite got a lot of fashion thumbs up! :D

Rapture - Crucifying

Since i'm getting my boots blacked by Shane (Northbound Leather bootblack), i thought i'd put in my two (Canadian) cents in.

Well, I have to say the height of the fashion show was the crucifixion performed by Master Malik. I never seen a live one which is ironic considering my parents are from the Philippines and that country has them every Easter. It was interesting to say the least. As George Giaouris said in the end, they hope they "nailed" it.

Rapture - Getting cozy down here

The place is filling up both within and outside the media out. The show should start any time now. I'm really getting cozy with the others in the media pit. Too bad I'm wearing a lot of chainmail. Hopefully I don't rub too much next to my media neighbours.
