a hot time, we def have to put Rubbout high on the list. The Vancouver event has been going strong for 20 years now drawing rubber and gear aficionados from around the globe. They cranked it up several notches for the 20th anniversary and the party was a must-have-good-time!
I arrived on Thursday night at the fab Vancouver airport, grabbed my bag and headed up to the Skytrain platform to snag a seat on a train headed to City Centre. The fare was $7.50 and is decidedly the best way to get downtown. After a brief stop to switch to the 6 Davies bus, I was off the bus practically at the door of the Pumpjack Pub, aka Rubber Central for the next few days, where I met up with Rubbout Producers Reid Dalgleish (Mr West Coast Rubber 2010) and Mitch Kenyon for some pre-madness cocktails and then off to bed, ready to dream of catsuited boys.
Friday morning I headed over to the host hotel, the Inn at False Creek, and met up with Fenn (Mr International Rubber 2010) for some breakfast and some shopping at event sponsor Priape. The rumors of a 40% off rack were true and I snagged some goodies before the hordes arrived. I also seriously lusted after some of the latest Priape designs like the metallic finish latex uniforms and super-hot football uniforms.
